Falls Creek 2012

This past week (16th-21st) I got to spend my time at Falls Creek. Which is my favorite place in the whole entire world! Falls Creek is a church camp that's been around for 96 years. It has moved so many lives and brought MANY to Christ. There's really not a care in the world there. The atmosphere is perfect, and you're definitely never bored!

We all gathered at the church around 12:30 to pack up and head that way. We arrived around 2 and unpacked all of our stuff. Our cabin is at the top of a hill so we all have pretty amazing calf muscles by the end of the week. We had free time from 12:30 to 5:30. During that time you can go play sports, go to the skate park, get an icee, get something at the gift store, or go swimming. We have dinner at 5:45. Our food is always amazing at Falls Creek, thanks to our wonderful cooks! We then had evening tabernacle at 7. Our speaker was Jeremy Freeman and our band was Nick Thurmond. After worship, we have free time until 10 then have night time devotion which is in the cabin. All in all this week was amazing and I'm so glad I got to go. I made some great memories there and made new relationships with people that will hopefully last a lifetime. I couldn't ask for a better group to go with and I look forward to next year!

icee time!

This was one of the best views ever! Seeing everybody have their hands raised and worshipping God. It makes me think how awesome this will be in heaven :)

Thoughts

Aren't I supposed to know what I want to do with my life by now? Most kids these days have at least an idea of what they want to do. Since I am approaching junior year, I am trying to figure out what my strengths and weaknesses are. At the moment, nothing is really standing out to me. I'm afraid I'm just going to end never deciding. Of course I want to go to college. From the looks of it. I'll probably go to a community college first. The only thing is though, after that I kind of have to decide what I want to do and exactly where I want to go with my life. I want to be able to break out of my "shell". So many people settle for something because they're scared to try new things. I don't want to be that person. I want to take advantage of an opportunity and actually do something. I guess in the end, all I want is to not only do something I love and want, but to also be happy and have the feeling of accomplishment. Because in the end, that's what will matter most.

Where did Summer go?

It has been brought to my attention, that yes, my summer is half way over. It goes by too fast. I just wish summer lasted longer. So far, it has been ahhh-mazing. I have one more drive time until I can take my drivers test. Don't worry, I'll give everyone a day's warning to clear the roads.

It is finally July! July is usually my busiest month. I literally only have one day that I'm not doing anything on this month. Between church camp, babysitting, hair appointment, birthdays, and VBS, my calendar just fills itself right up. I've also been scrap booking like a boss lately. Which has indulged a huge proportion of my money, but hey, at least I'm sticking with it! So far, I've spent close to $100 on it. I'm so indecisive that I send a page that I'm done with to at least three people and ask if it looks okay. Then if I find it necessary, I move things around. Thank God for replaceable adhesive!

This is pretty much how I've spent my summer. Hopefully i finish my scrapbooks.

Happy 4th :)
