October

I can't believe it's already October. It seems like yesterday this year just began and here it is already almost over. It makes me a little sad. On the 1st on October, I went and celebrated my grandma's birthday. I honestly have NO idea what I would do without her. She is seriously one of the best people to ever be in my life.  That same night I had to go help out with the NHS induction.

grandkids minus Candice.

Peacock painting I did for my grandma's birthday and Britt's rooster she did for her a couple years ago.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

That weekend I celebrated my best friend since kindergarten's birthday. A bunch of us went downtown and just hung out. It was a blasty blast.

The next week was Hoemcoming week. We always have Spirit Week where we have a theme for each day and then at the end of the week we have a parade to get pumped up for the game. Unfortunately, after the parade I got sick and could not stay for the game (I got the joy of staying home and puking my guts up..so fun!...not.). My best friend Brooke was also Junior candidate for Homecoming which I hated missing. I did snatch a pic with her though before things took a turn for the worse! :)

The following weekend, I got to spend at Falls Creek for fall retreat which I would never pass up! We headed down there on Friday and stayed till Saturday evening. I loved the group I went with and can't wait for Summer to come around so we can go back!

The next week I packed up to head off to Indiana for FFA National Convention. We left on the 23rd at 4AM and came back the 26th. It was SO much fun even if we did spend most of the time on the bus. The first day we drove and stopped in Tennessee and went to the Grand Ol' Opry. The next day, we drove the rest of the way to Indiana where the National Convention was held. We arrived around 4 and got to walk around the career show where I not only bought a penguin phone case, but saw a real live PENGUIN. My dream came true. It was the best day ever!! We went to a session around 5 and that lasted till around 9:30. We then hopped on the bus and headed to the hotel. The next day, we drove to Kentucky and went to Churchhill Downs, and Three Chimney's farms. We then drove to Missouri and stayed at lovely hotel that had a waffle maker! My favorite! that night we went to Lambert's where they threw rolls and overfed you because they can. We then went back to the hotel took a dip in the pool and headed to bed to make our way back home. All in all, I'm so glad i got to go.

On the Sunday before Halloween, I attended our annual Halloween Youth Party. It was a blasty blast.

On the last day of October, I dressed up in my penguin suit and went to Doba to eat. We were going to go trick or treating but ended up driving to BFE to go to a haunted house. When we got there, it was 15$ to go. None of us had the money so we ended up going to wal mart instead. It was a fail to say the least.

All in all, October was a great month. Time to bring on the turkey though! :)
