Christmas Break!

I got out for Christmas Break the 21st ( Well technically the 20th). After taking 2 finals, Christmas break never sounded better. Normally, I don't take finals, but due to a lot of absences and such it was required. Luckily they were my last two afternoon classes so I did sleep in a little Tuesday. ( I went all day Monday just so I didn't have another absence counted against me). Tuesday(the 20th) afternoon I went to a Chinese Buffet with Jen, Jenni, and Brooke. Wednesday( 21st) I went up to my grandmother's to make cookies with my cousin and grandma. The 22nd and 23rd I had driver's Ed. Worst 10 hours of my life. Okay, not really but it was boring. At least that morning I got to hang out with Payton! After driver's Ed, I headed straight to grandma's. She has her annual party with her whole side of the family. We eat then play games. Right after that I headed straight up to church to practice ( I sang at church Christmas morning). Finally, Christmas Eve came. I headed back up to grandma's (again) to open presents. She got me things from a lava lamp to a penguin statue. She knows me well. Christmas came without hesitation as usual. It didn't even really feel like Christmas time. No matter how many lights I saw, decorations I put up, or songs I listened to, I couldn't get in the Christmas Spirit. I love Christmas out of the holidays ( yes, even more than my birthday). Who doesn't ? Christmas is filled with yummy goodies, penguins, get togethers, and cuddling ( if you have a significant other unlike me). But we cannot forget the reason we celebrate Christmas. It's also the most important holiday of all. After all, It is Jesus' Birthday! (Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!) Even though it wasn't really "Christmas-y feeling" I still had a good Christmas. Glad I got to spend it with the people who mean the most to me.

Youth Group Christmas Party!

Ginny, Me, Macy, Brandalyn, and Ashlyn!

Britt and I went up Wednesday to help prepare for Friday night. Grandma only told us these had to be "Picture Perfect." And thats exactly all they were. The did not get good ratings in the taste department. By the way, the plate says " I baked it myself. With Love."

My favorite little person and I.

While practicing, my photography mode kicked in.

And again.

Green couch photo with some orbs (ancestors) Haha.

I think we have a future in decorating.

Pajama time.

A true family moment.

Cousinly love.

And again.

Sisters Fo Life!

Grandmother Dearest, we love you so.
The best lady I know. My Grandma :)
Christmas Morning!

One of my signature faces. It should go on a Christmas Card. Fo Real.

I hope everyone and their mother had a great Christmas. I know I did! Penguins galore! I'm ready to get down on New Year's. Also ready for a fresh start and a new beginning. 2011 definitely had its up and downs. I've learned not to take life for granted and to appreciate what I've got. The Lord has blessed me in so many ways and I can't thank him enough! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! :)
