“No one can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”
As silly as it is, this quote definitely applies to me right now. I used to keep all my messages just in case I wanted to go back and see what that person used to be like. The thing about me is I hold on, and when I do I hold on for a long time. I don't like to show that I do,or admit to it often but I do... And with that being said, I keep things that might cause me to hold on longer.
People tell you to let go of things that way better things can come. If you're squeezing your hand tight, how can God place something more valuable in your life? If you don't have your hand open, ready for whatever comes next, it's going to hurt more when God has to pry it away.
I'm trying to realize this and not take things for granted. I care too much for unworthy things and its time I stop. I put too much focus on things of little value when I should be focusing on more important things.
I decided to delete my messages in my phone. I realize people change, and most of the time, don't mean what they say. It's time for a new ending. After all, no one can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
